PRN Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Norman Regional EMSSTAT operates 24 / 7 to provide pre-hospital stabilization and life-saving care to 30,000+ patients each year.
We are currently seeking highly motivated healers ready for a fast-paced environment who are able to deliver the best patient experience, function as part of a dynamic team, and represent our Health System well.
Responsibilities :
- Provide routine and emergency medical care, extrication, and transportation of ill and injured persons.
- Assist Paramedic with patient assessment and the delivery of appropriate medical treatment.
- Maintain equipment, vehicles, and stations in sanitary and working order.
Qualifications :
- Completion of EMT Program or Advanced EMT Program.
- Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma EMT, Advanced EMT, or Intermediate EMT (I85) License.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) must be maintained for duration of employment.
