Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Anchorage, AK
Job Description : We are currently looking for a dedicated Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Anchorage, AK.
This vital position involves providing specialized speech therapy services to a diverse group of students, addressing a wide range of speech and language disorders in a supportive school setting.
The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing communication skills and academic achievements of students.
Responsibilities :
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Create and implement effective treatment plans tailored to the needs of each student.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support and enhance the student's educational experience.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations to support student development.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions and monitor student progress.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or similar field.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Alaska.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
