Large Manufacturing in the Buford area is looking for a Extruder / Granulator Machine Operator with experience to work their 1st shift
this a temp to Perm position
17.00 hour

BASIC FUNCTION :
To assist Shift leader in dealing with the day-to-day activities and ensure smooth and efficient operation of their shift.
To manage manpower staffing and ensure no interruption of production due to lack of resources. Ensure that each employee is well trained and works in all areas of the production process.
Work directly with Quality Eng., Maintenance, and Process engineer to ensure top quality and production process.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Supervise and assist shift leader in operating production equipment in accordance with standardized techniques.
2. Operate production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs and Quality specifications.
3. Produce compound on the machine and in order assigned by the process engineer or Production Supervisor.
4. Complete equipment set-ups in accordance with customer specifications, safety, and quality procedures.
5. Inspect material and document findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
6. Complete online test as specified per work order (Hardness, density, etc ). Ensure all Quality Checks are done in accordance with designed specifications.
7. Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
8. Adhere to established policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations, in particular to PPE.
9. As the designated Emergency Response Area Director for Production for your specific shift, maintain full knowledge of emergency procedures.
10. Notify management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, Safety issues and / or personal injuries.
11. Notify management of any conditions that might affect quality or on-time delivery.
12. Weighing and mixing of raw materials.
13. Attend training classes provided by Gezolan.
14. Follow and enforce all SOP and Work instructions.
15. Must be Flexible to handle other shift needs.
16. Start up and Shut of equipment and Facility Security needs.
17. Handle Personnel for manning and conflict resolutions.
18. Ability to handle special task assignment, IE- protocol’s, 5S, continuous improvement, Test Trials, Toolbox trainings.
19. Train New Production employees in Accordance to Training Documents
20. Perform other related duties as assigned.
