Therapist owned and operated, IEP Therapy is currently looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the Rockford area.
Occupational Therapy Assistant Responsibilities :
- Communicate accurate and reliable information to the Occupational Therapist and document as required
- Participate with the Occupational Therapist in the student's evaluation, program planning and therapy intervention
- At the direction of the Occupational Therapist, consult with parents, teachers, and other related services personnel about the student's progress
- Participate in developing and presenting in-services for appropriate school staff, parents and community
Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications :
- Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- NBCOT OTA License
- Illinois Occupational Therapist Assistant State License upon hire
