Senior Project Manager

A great UHY client is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Manager Office of Strategic Execution to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a strong PMP, have some Manufacturing Operations experience (required), experience with analysis and managing / reporting on KPI, a change agent with strong problem solving skills and the ability to drive results, and strong business acumen with the ability / comfort working with highly confidential information.

The Senior Manager, Project Manager Office role is a hybrid position with 1 to 3 days per week in office (depending upon travel and office availability).

This is a client direct hire position.

Senior Manager, Project Manager Office Responsibilities :

• Manages the financials of the projects / programs. Assumes the responsibility, authority and accountability for delivery to the documented project scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
• Champions cross functional engagement in the program and across the business.
• Facilitates the implementation of program management processes and standard work.
• Actively engages the functional core team members assigned to the program / project. Direct and or functional reporting may be required.
• Establishes clear objectives and goals and provides direction to the program and project team.
• Utilizes change management processes and procedures.
• Acts as a business interface with the customer (internal and / or external). Ensures organization responsiveness to meet expectations / requirements.
• Ensures adequate support of the program by coordinating reviews, preparing and publishing metrics and reports.
• Creates a comprehensive plan taking into account risks, requirements, lessons learned, etc. Uses formal risk management and mitigation processes.
• Provides updates to all levels of stakeholders. Utilizes formal stakeholder communication methodologies to keep the business abreast of issues relating to contractual milestones and problem / high risk areas.
• Seeks team input to promote rapid resolution to issues.

Senior Manager, Project Manager Office Requirements :

• Requires a bachelor's degree and experience in the field or in a related area.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, supply chain, finance, project management, purchasing or a similar role that depends heavily on analytics, problem solving skills and understanding of operations and supply chain
• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly / effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Solid computer skills with thorough knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with, or the ability to learn, Power BI
• Demonstrated background in data analysis and interpretation
• Knowledge and experience in Project Management methodologies
• The ability to travel to meet with colleagues / leadership
