Tendeg LLC is a premier spacecraft deployables company. Our novel designs are enabling exciting missions providing high gain antennas for sensor applications and communications.

We have 12 antennas on-orbit and 20 flight deliverables occurring in 2024. Our missions include Earth Science (weather, surface deformation and change);

LEO, GEO and lunar communications; synthetic aperture radar (SAR); and unique radio frequency sensors for commercial and government applications.

We have apertures from 50cm to 10m, VHF to Q / V-band, and precise 2-axis gimbals. Please join our innovative and rapidly growing team.

Title : Mechanical Engineering Internship Summer 2025

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will be supporting internal research and development (IRAD) efforts in novel material and product development, testing, and qualification.

The IRAD team operates on the frontlines of product development, investigating the feasibility of new concepts and supporting appropriate integration with our highly demanding product lines.

Position Details :

  • 3-month paid internship
  • 40 hours per week
  • No relocation assistance

Location : Louisville, CO

What you'll do :

  • Work closely with the IRAD team
  • Designing, prototyping, and assembling test fixturing
  • Designing, prototyping, and implementing data acquisition systems
  • Operating tests, including data acquisition software
  • Post-processing data for desired insights
  • Designing, prototyping, and implementing novel tools for in-situ product evaluation
  • Perform analysis and hand calculations as needed to support design development
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications / Education :

Currently pursuing a degree from a four-year university or relevant Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering course work.

Must be working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or any other relevant engineering certification.

  • Ability to learn new processes quickly and effectively multi-task
