JOB DESCRIPTION

The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking full-time Pulmonologist for its practice in State-of-the-Art Ambulatory Pavilion in Queens!

Phenomenal opportunity to serve as a Pulmonologist for Mount Sinai in our Mount Sinai Queens Hospital and Ambulatory Pavilion in Astoria, Queens, one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in New York City.

The Ambulatory Pavilion, a gleaming, six-story facility features the full range of primary and specialty services under one roof, with 50 physicians already onboard, including : Cardiology, Urology, Endocrine, Pediatrics, GYN, and Oncology, as well as a range of advanced imaging and procedural capabilities.

The Queens Ambulatory Pavilion serves as the flagship outpatient facility for Mount Sinai in Queens. The Mount Sinai Queens Hospital, a 160 bed community hospital attached to the Ambulatory Pavilion, provides acute care services to the Queens and surrounding communities.

The position will provide both inpatient consultation to hospitalized patients as well as outpatient services in an ambulatory setting.

Bringing together skilled physicians and the expertise of one of the world’s leading academic medical centers, the Queens Ambulatory Pavilion combines high level training and advanced resources with a personalized range of care under one roof, from primary care and women’s health services (OB / GYN) to cardiology, endocrinology and more.

The position offers an opportunity to build a Pulmonology practice with a diverse patient population in a large, busy multi-specialty practice.

The practice is dedicated to the highest quality care and to promoting continued education in its staff while playing an integral role in Mount Sinai’s efforts to continue to grow its outpatient hub in Astoria.

There are no research requirements and minimal administrative responsibilities, but physicians have the opportunity to be involved in PI and QA initiatives.

Compensation range from 300K to 375K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Position Qualifications :

Medical Degree from an Accredited University

New York Medical License

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine

Minimum 3 years' experience

Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve

Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills

A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital / community need.

As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
