Material Handler

We are seeking a junior level Material Handler to join our warehouse department. This role involves various material handling tasks and requires experience with sit-down forklifts and clamp trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving operations.
• Pick and pack materials efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Handle materials using a sit-down forklift and clamp truck.
• Ensure the accuracy of warehouse inventory.
• Operate an RF scanner and pallet jack for material handling tasks.
• Attend a two-day forklift training session and participate in on-the-job training for 2-4 weeks.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Friday. The role involves working in a warehouse setting, handling various materials, and requires adherence to safety protocols and proper use of equipment. Dress code is casual, suitable for a warehouse environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Whitsett, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.75 / hr.
