Qualifications :
- Currently licensed as an LPN / LVN in the state in which the LPN / LVN will practice.
- Currently licensed as an Registered Nurse in the state in which the RN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card
- 1 year of tracheostomy experience preferred (Changing, cleaning, suctioning).
- 1 year of ventilator experience preferred.
- 1 year of g-tube experience preferred.
- Weekends
- Gtube, trach and vent experience required
- ALS experience required
Responsibilities :
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care / services in accordance with prescribed doctors orders
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and / or potential nursing diagnoses.
