Mayfield Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently seeking Full Time & Part-Time Kitchen Staff / Dietary Cook to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Efficiently and accurately perform cooking and food preparation assignments that result in consistent, high-quality products, including reading menus, recipes, and work schedules to be used for production;

checking with the appropriate supervisor for menu changes and special instructions.

• Complies with all safety, sanitation, and quality control guidelines for the state of Ohio.
• Participates in quality control procedures, including recording information on food temperatures, taste panels, and waste into the appropriate logs.
• Supports efficient operations throughout the Food Services Department.
• Delivers and / or retrieves food trays from patient rooms on an as-needed basis for pre-identified locations.
• Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

HS Diploma or equivalent

• One year of experience in high-volume food service and / or high-quantity food production cooking.
• Understanding of basic food preparation and cooking methods.
• Previous experience in long-term health care food service preferred

• Full-time & Part Time
• Flexible shifts

• Weekend availability
