We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join their dynamic team.

As a Cost Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, focusing on job cost accounting. You will be responsible for providing financial analysis of projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, and supporting project managers with financial insights.

This role is essential in helping us maintain financial efficiency and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform detailed financial analysis of construction projects.
• Track and monitor job costs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budgets.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and support.
• Prepare and analyze cost reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of job cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with financial analysis and reporting in a construction setting.
• Knowledge of project accounting and cost control methods.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
