We are hiring for SAP FICO expert who will be responsible for the Enterprise wide IT Finance Applications development and support activities.
The person is expected to provide techno-functional support and leadership for delivering IT projects including strategic and transformational initiatives for Finance teams globally.
Responsibilities :
This position is responsible for the Enterprise wide IT Financials Applications development and support activities. The person is expected to provide techno-functional leadership for delivering on IT projects including strategic and transformational initiatives for Finance and other business teams globally.
- Partner with business groups and Varian IT to deliver business centric IT projects.
- Work closely with the IT Finance Manager and other IT team members to fulfill defined business goals.
- Provide expertise in the area of custom developments on SAP and other web platforms.
- Work closely with business and IT to provide application support and continuous improvements for the applications that are already in production and used extensively for day to day operations.
- Analyze issues or requirements and design cost effective resolutions and solutions to address these issues / requirements.
- Design and write specifications for the development of interfaces to other systems.
- Hands-on experience in S4HANA SAP FI(G / L, AP, AR, Fixed Assets) and CO(Cost Center, Internal Orders, COPA and Product Costing), RAR, Treasury, Project System module and be able to learn on job new technologies and deliver the solutions.
- Should have in depth integration knowledge with Logistics modules.

The successful candidate should be a self-starter and highly innovative to implement and support all financial applications whether it is SAP or non-SAP.
The candidate must have technical accounting knowledge, understanding of accounting business processes, and demonstrate a drive to deploy best possible SAP financial solutions.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education / Experience Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / accounting or Engineering or Computer Science with 5 years of SAP FICO experience.
- Strong FICO configuration skills and deep understanding of all standard SAP FICO processes.
- Hands on experience in SAP S / 4 HANA with focus on SAP FICO modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, FSCM, RAR, Treasury Product Costing and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
- Should be able to understand the integration points with FI and Logistics modules.
- Experience in Project System is desirable.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Experience in conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis.
- Extremely goal-oriented, innovative and Quick learner, adapts easily to new situations / challenges.
- Exceptional competency in handling tasks both individually as well as within a team
- Should be able to write test scripts and SOPs w.r.t finance and accounting functions.
- Write program specifications for system enhancements, reports & data-load programs.
- Work with internal & external developers to develop and test programs.
- Manage data conversions and loads. Validate data conversions, system enhancements from SAP Finance and Controlling point of view.
- Flexible & dynamic team player with ability to work independently with business users and manage multiple assignments.
Interact with project / delivery teams on regular basis to provide guidance to deliver channel and acquisition projects in timely manner.
Prepare for and conduct training for business users and others in SAP functions.
