What part will you play?

The role of a Diversified Account Executive (AE) is focused on the overall growth of the conference room portfolio. The AE is responsible for conducting pipeline-generating activities, promoting sales motions to expedite the sales cycle, and leading account mapping sessions between sales teams.

These responsibilities are to be performed with the goal of fostering growth within the collaboration and broadcast business lines.

What will you be doing?

  • Prospecting : Identify potential clients and businesses that could benefit from engaging with Diversified. This involves targeting the Diversified provided lists and researching target markets, industries, and specific companies.
  • Lead Generation : Utilize various methods, such as list targeting, cold-calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking with Technical and Account Executive Teams to create client engagement and generate leads.
  • Qualifying Leads : Engage with potential clients to understand their needs, pain points, and requirements. Determine if they are a good fit for room roll-out offers and qualify them as potential sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge : Deep understanding of AV / collaboration technology, their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, and effectively communicate its value proposition to potential customers.

Develop proficiency in attaching security services, compute imaging, Pro Licensing, Intune provisioning, CVI Interoperability, and multiple management portal strategies.

  • Conduct Demos : Arrange and conduct product demonstrations or presentations to showcase the features and capabilities of Diversified to prospects by utilizing Diversified Subject Matter Experts and Solution Architects.
  • Sales Pipeline Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions with prospects including outbound referrals, co-selling, Pilots, and Workshops.

Manage the sales pipeline effectively.

Follow-Up : Consistent and relentless follow-up with leads, partners, and prospects to ensure they are progressing through the sales funnel.

Address any questions or concerns they may have.

  • Achieving Sales Targets : Work towards achieving or exceeding assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Market Research : Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics related to collaboration tools and business communication.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay informed about updates and new features released by collaboration partners and participate in training sessions to enhance your product knowledge.

Professional Experience & Required Skills

  • Hourly position
  • Hunter mentality and consistent high-activity development motions.
  • Knowledge of AV / Collaboration related Programs and Product Portfolios.
  • Experience selling or supporting AV / Collaboration.
  • 3-5 years of related partner sales or technical experience required, with a preference for video, voice, communication, collaboration & AV, and demonstrated ability to scale through partner sales in a partner-led or partner co-sell motion.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities, continuous learning, intellectual curiosity, and professional impact.
  • Experience working with members of the manufacturer sales field, Partner Admin Network, and OEM sales partners.
  • Strong, collaborative leadership skills; ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; proactive, driven, and positive work attitude;

excellent follow-up skills, with a focus on task completion; excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to develop winning proposals, collect and analyze data, and support and conduct client business reviews that lead to profitable sales growth.
  • Knowledge of CRM and proficiency in all MS Office programs.
  • Resourceful and able to work independently.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings to motivate and educate to produce results.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills with a high degree of comfort at all levels of an organization.
  • Inclusive and collaborative driving teamwork and cross-team alignment.
  • Experience with cloud technology platforms and solutions with a 100-200 level of technical proficiency.
  • Direct experience with meetings voice / video solutions is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
