- Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964.

Responsibilities & Requirements
Job Summary
Responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures under the direction of a physician including;
extra-cranial and intra-cranial angiography, as well as all body angiography with possible vascular interventions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education
Associates Degree in Radiography
Work Experience
- 3 years minimum as Angiography Technologist or Radiographer
- 1-year relevant experience preferred
Licenses, Certifications and Registrations.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT REQUIRED.
- ARRT preferred but not required
- Ohio Radiographer License REQUIRED
- BLS is REQUIRED
Skills
- Provides technical support and assists with IR procedures of diagnostic quality as ordered by the referring physician and / or radiologist on patients of all ages according to established protocols.
- Provides technical support and assists with neurointerventional procedures in conjunction with the neuro-interventionalist
- Operates required imaging equipment using established guidelines and imaging protocols
- Ensures proper safety standards are met
- Instructs students and residents and performs preceptor duties when necessary
- Assists in maintaining supply inventory
- Demonstrates working knowledge of RIS and EMR systems
Essential Functions
- Obtaining clinical history and data for correlation with the procedure
- Prepare and administer contrast media to the patient according to policy
- Practice sterile technique
- Assist Radiologist and Neuro-Interventionalist with procedures
- Thoroughly educate patients about procedure
- Ensure that all records and reports are documented and recorded as required.
- Ensure that all pertinent charging as been entered into EMR
- Follow radiation safety policies and procedures
