Avera is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Quality Specialist to join our Team!

Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Quality Specialist is to guide the quality improvement activities for Avera. This includes : using appropriate quality tools and performance improvement (PI) methodologies, evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of operations through data management, analysis and PI activities, serve as a resource for quality processes by leading, teaching, and guiding various quality improvement activities, assist in managing quality data, data submission, data analysis, and preparing / presenting quality outcomes.
Education and / or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- 3-5 years of healthcare experience preferred.
- Must have adept knowledge with computer software, including Microsoft Office.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and / or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm; 80hrs / 2wks
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$29.50 - $44.25 per hour
