Saint Francis Health System seeks a Hospitalist to work in both Tulsa and Muskogee Counties to Diagnose, treat, and provide continuous care to hospital inpatients.
Prescribe medications and / or treatment regimens to hospital inpatients. Order and interpret the results of tests such as laboratory tests and x-rays.
Admit patients for hospital stays. Conduct discharge planning and discharge patients. Write patient discharge summaries and send them to primary care physicians.
Refer patients to medical specialists, social services, or other professionals as appropriate. Direct, coordinate, and supervise the patient care activities of nursing or support staff.
Participate in continuing education activities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills. Direct and support quality improvement projects and safety programs.
Attend relevant administrative meetings.
