About The Position

ID : 51645393 Shift : 8H Days 8-5PM Description : Unit the general supervision of the Leader of Cardiopulmonary and according to professional standards and practices provides diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for disorders of the respiratory, cardiac, and vascular systems upon receiving written prescriptions from the physician.

These duties also include collaborating with the medical sta? and other Healthcare professionals to develop a plan of care for the patient as well as plan education of the patient and family members regarding procedures of the Cardiopulmonary Department.

c application programs, Holter monitor and stress testing equipment and other such equipment as technology changes. Stethoscopes, sphygmomanometers and other such aides are used.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Graduate of an approved school of an Allied Health Field with additional training in ultrasound procedures.

Must be registered in Adult Vascular and ECHO by either American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Knowledge of AIC accreditation preferred.JOB KNOWLEDGE : BLS certi?cation is required. Must be knowledgeable of the proper performance of both vascular and cardiac diagnostic testing.

The patient populations must be considered when assessing job knowledge required from the employee. Anatomy of the cardiac and vascular systems is required for ultrasound procedures.
