Responsibilities

  • End user training, support, and troubleshooting
  • Information technology and computer system support in Windows environment
  • Participate and lead IT projects
  • Execute hardware replacement strategy
  • Assist with network backups and security
  • Assist and learn support role for ERP and WMS software
  • Technical contact on IT related matters
  • Work with IT service providers for specialized and other support needs

Position Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware or software issues
  • End user and PC support experience
  • Windows server and domain administration training or experience
  • Microsoft SQL server training or experience preferred
  • ERP or WMS software training or experience a plus
  • Self-motivated individual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Occasional support and project activities outside of normal business hours
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science; an associate degree in IT networking or similar;

or 2+ years relevant experience in IT.

Physical Demands

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is required to lift no more than 20 pounds, sit for long periods of time, stand, reach, with arms and hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Vision abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to observe safe work practices in the use of equipment.

The work environment is in an office / distribution center that is adequately lit, temperature controlled, and the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.

Work may require participation in special events and travel outside of office by air or car.
