You'll play a crucial role in storing, moving, and handling products and materials with precision and efficiency. If you're dependable, safety-minded, and ready to thrive in a structured work environment, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Activities :
- Identify, transport, pack, remove, and dispose of products and materials accurately and efficiently
- Utilize forklifts, handcarts, or pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle, and load / unload orders as required
- Maintain inventory levels as instructed by supervisors or leads
- Feed production lines with product according to schedule or directives from supervision
- Execute shipping and receiving tasks throughout the shift, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Operate all equipment safely, following established safety protocols and procedures
- Conduct accurate counting, weighing, and recording of units or materials moved or handled
- Ensure proper identification and labeling of moved products
- Perform housekeeping duties to uphold cleanliness and organization in work areas, including sweeping floors, disposing of trash, and tidying stray product
- Fulfill any additional duties assigned to support production goals
Requirements :
- Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in operating stand-up and extended forklifts
- Basic math skills necessary for inventory tasks
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English (preferred)
