We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our client. This specialized role focuses on creating and improving manufacturing work instructions and procedures, ensuring alignment with LEAN assembly principles and overall process efficiency.

Develop, convert, and maintain manufacturing work instructions and procedures from the current instruction system.

Plan sequences of operations and specify procedures for assembly, disassembly, soldering, component removal / installation, coating, and material preparation.

Apply judgment in balancing conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods, and operator comfort and effectiveness.

Design sequences of operations and procedures for the fabrication of tools, equipment, and other functions impacting product performance.

Key Responsibilities

Safety : Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, proactively support a safe work environment, and comply with audits.

Quality : Promote a culture of 100% quality across all processes.

Process Efficiency : Provide direct feedback to support design and build processes.

Product Compliance : Create, maintain, and improve work instructions, including planning, AWI, and OSOPs.

Skills Required

Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Skills Preferred

Background in production or electronics.

Basic knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in electronics or manufacturing.

Experience with CAD or other visual aids.

Experience creating detailed work instructions in an MES-type system.

Technical certificate or degree in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.

Experience Required

Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.

Experience Preferred

Background in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience with Aegis FactoryLogix is a plus.

Education

Associate’s Degree or equivalent with four years of work experience required.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline preferred.

Pay Range : $32.00 - $37.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
