About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2175 To $2417 Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : PCU Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Information Not Provided Experience : 2 years of PCU experience License : Active CA state license required Certifications : ACLS, NIH Must-Have : IV start, Tele, Phlebotomy, and A-line experience Job Description : Start Dates Available : - Multiple start dates available within October and November.
- Holiday Policy : - Must be available for two of the three holiday pairs : Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day & the day after, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day.
- Float Pool Locations : - Candidates must be willing to work across multiple locations. - May float to emergency department inpatient overflow as needed.
- Required Experience : - Two years of PCU experience. - Open to first-time travelers.- Unit Information : - Floating to all PCU units and occasionally to MS if census permits.
- Includes general medicine, surgical, neuro, oncology, cardiac, and ortho units.- Patient Ratios : - IMU : 1 : 3 - Tele : 1 : 4 - MS : 1 : 5- Documentation Systems : - EPIC, Pyxis- Scheduling : - 4-week schedules are provided two weeks in advance.
- No blocked or self-scheduling is allowed. - Notification of shift location will be provided two hours before the shift begins.
- Vaccine Requirements : - COVID-19 vaccine and booster required, with medical / religious exemptions only. - Flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions only.
- Additional Compliance : - Two manager references are required. - Candidates may be required to float within hospitals or to affiliate hospitals nearby.
- Orientation : - 12 hours non-billable orientation.
