Location : Atlanta, GA

Position Type : Full-Time

Job Description : The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' educational and psychological needs.

This role involves working closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies that promote student success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in school psychology and experience working within educational settings.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational planning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Monitor and review student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Provide consultation and support to school staff on issues related to student learning and behavior.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide policies and programs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments and interventions.
  • Stay current with best practices and developments in school psychology.

Qualifications :

  • Must be a licensed School Psychologist in the state of Georgia.
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Prior experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting is required.
  • Strong knowledge of psycho-educational assessment tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and administrators.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Must pass a background check and meet all state and local requirements for school personnel.
