Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details :

• $-$ per week
• School Year
• Bonus : $3, Assignment Bonus for new SHC employees
• Hours per week : Full-time. 37-40 hours / week
• Start Date : August
• End Date : May with option to extend
• Location : In-person
• Speech-Language Pathologist for -25 school year with option to extend for future school years.
• Will also consider SLP-CF candidates and part-time candidates.
• Openings in early childhood and K-12.
• Caseload / assignment will be made based on experience, preference, and interview with the Director of Special Education.
• Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements :

• Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
• Missouri SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification
