Will be responsible part-time as a CDL Driver, only as needed, responsibilities include :
- Operating a tractor trailer flatbed truck part-time that transports cargo to and from specified destinations.
- Preparing, receiving and providing appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service
- Maintaining DOT travel logs according to federal and state regulations such as a pre- and post-trip safety report, 7day / 60-hour log, fuel trip logs and fuel cards
- Experience driving with a CDL Class A License
- Operating tractor trailer or flatbed truck to deliver / pick up cargo
- Loading, securing, and unloading cargo
- Tarping cargo in inclement weather
- Responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation
- Safely operating forklifts or other machinery in order to complete assigned tasks including loading, unloading moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material.
- Banding, wrapping and taping product as needed.
- Maintaining the condition of the warehouse work area (free of trash, product in the correct location and organized, floors swept).
- Other duties as dictated by business needs.
- Must be able to work with other warehouse associates and lift to 100 lbs.; 8-10 times per day on average, not limited to.
Actual amount will depend on the number of stops for that day.
- Must be able to apply force to tension / strap bar to secure load, at each stop.
- Must be able to ascend / descend in a tractor-trailer cab and flatbed trailer, at each stop.
- Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items
- Requires the ability to consistently, and often, lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Walking and carrying merchandise
- Requires moving around the warehouse to assist others or moving merchandise themselves
- Identify and read tickets, SKUs, UPC labels and reports
- Requires recognizing, identifying and using merchandise and necessary reports.
- Gripping used to operate machinery or hand tools
- Ability to meet the required schedule for work.
