Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a temporary assignment in Centennial, Colorado. The selected candidate will provide the first point of contact for inquiries between the general public and city department heads.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
This position is on-site
This position has a pay rate of $22 / hr
Candidates must have 3+ years of call center / customer service experience to be considered
Responsibilities
- Receive and respond tactfully and resourcefully in the process of seeking resolution to inquiries, issues and complaints reported by citizens
- Monitor compliance with performance standards, provide reports through the work management system and assist with managing work order system asset modules in support of all project divisions
- Assist all department heads in working with citizens and community groups to resolve neighborhood concerns
- As a call-center agent, receive complaints or inquiries via telephone, electronic mail or website requests from the public and provide answers, if known or through research, or make the proper referral
- Conduct research and prepare correspondence in response to public inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of various issues surrounding the City, Mayor and Council
- Coordinate resources to respond to citizen’s questions and concerns
- Assist the department in preparation of monthly progress reports
- Assist with preparing and analyzing weekly and monthly reports, generated through the work management system, that monitor compliance with performance standards and inventory control
- Perform data entry in the work management system to initiate and update work requests and complete work requests or work orders
- Attend system administration meetings related to the work management system and process
- Performs other similar duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years call center or customer service experience is required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
