DESIGN & ANALYSIS ENGINEER 4- TEST PROGRAM
Seeking two (2) Senior (Level 4) Test Program Set (TPS) Developers to join the C-17 team. All projects focus on design, development, and production support of Intermediate level Test Program Set development and maintenance.
Responsibilities include test, wiring and software design, integration and regression testing of new and modified Test Programs.
The selected individuals will work with the existing TPS Team, co-located in Long Beach, CA and Oklahoma City, OK, to develop and modify Intermediate Level test programs in support of C-17 aircraft Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) testing ongoing at many USAF bases.

Engineers applying for this position may be assigned to work in one or more of the following areas :
Test Program Set design, development and qualification
System Requirements documentation, validation, and verification
Support of Problem Report resolution
Development of Regression Test Analyses and performance of regression testing
Training in Test Program Set development processes
Position Responsibilities :
Work with internal and external customers to develop and document TPS system requirements.
Cordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
Work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet functional requirements.
Solves problems concerning, and provides support of, fielded test hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Makes recommendations for technology advancements
Work Authorization :
This position may be hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Boeing Long Beach site.
This is at the hiring managers discretion and could potentially change in the future.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.
US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
Bachelor's of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
10 or more years of experience with Test Program Set development
Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Electrical Engineering or Physics degree
Experience with hardware and software design and integration
Expertise in high level programming languages
Experience with Test Program Set hardware and software design
Experience working on Teradyne Test Station
Experience working with cross functional teams
Demonstrated technical and TPS development skills
Familiarity with engineering processes and methods
Typical Education / Experience :
Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering or physics (e.
g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.
g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
