We are seeking an experience PACU Nurse for our surgery center in Beverly Hills. We are seeking Full-Time PACU Nurses Only.
Qualifications
- The role of the post-anesthesia care unit nurse (PACU nurse) is to provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia.
- The PACU RN treats outpatients according to their needs, monitoring their vital signs to determine necessary care. Due to the possibility of rapid changes in a patient’s physiological condition, PACU RN's are required to administer diligent care via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.
- The PACU nurse is in charge of assessing the patient’s overall condition during the delicate post-anesthesia period, providing care and intervention as needed.
- Documentation and patient education are also components of this critical role; the PACU nurse will instructs patients in self-care techniques following their procedures.
- Must be able to think critically
- Make confident decisions in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Must have experience in ICU, ER; prefer OB as well
- Valid CA Registered Nurse License
