Phlebotomist is responsible for clinical laboratory duties, including :
- All Sites : Reception and Telephone duties & proficient operation laboratory equipment including HIS / LIS systems; specimen handling : receiving and processing;
- prep & shipping of lab specimens for at Reference Laboratories; specimen / patient registration; phlebotomy - collection of blood samples by venipuncture or capillary stick;
- therapeutic blood collection; swab collection of specific Micro samples (per competency); assignment to OP Lab locations;
training new staff as assigned.

Required qualifications :
- Coursework / Training and Completion of an approved phlebotomy or medical assistance program meeting requirements to be licenses as a MA-P or MA-C in WA State.
- Upon hire : Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
- 6 months of Direct experience as a phlebotomist and / or completion of a Phlebotomy program.
