Process Engineer
Piper Companies is looking for a Process Engineer to join a clinical biopharmaceuticals company located in Fredrick, MD .
Responsibilities of the Process Engineer include :
- Management of laboratory inventory (ex : consumables, regents, and equipment)
- Complete extractions regarding nucleic acids (ex : DNA or RNA)
- Deals with general care of cell lines using techniques like cell cultures
- Performs various types of testing / documentation (ex : virus characterization assays, research for cell banks)
- Preparation of cell pellets and virus stocks for both internal and external use
- Provide an understanding of TXNA policies and safety procedures
- Complete documentation while using ALCOA+ framework
Qualifications for the Process Engineer include :
- Must possess an Associate's degree with 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting
- Must be able to work in BSL-2 laboratory
- Preferred experience in virology techniques, aseptic techniques, and maintenance of cell cultures
Compensation for the Process Engineer includes :
- Rate Range : $60,000 - $80,000 Per Year
