Junior Software Engineer
EDC Corporation is currently seeking a junior software developer to join our growing development and customer support team.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for debugging software, product testing, and new feature implementation. Work with Mobile, Responsive Web Design, License Plate Recognition, RDBMS, high performance scalable web sites, and other exciting technologies.

Responsibilities :
- Perform responsive, web based software development and integration, within an agile development process
- Application debugging
- Develop graphical user interfaces (GUIs)
- Develop Android and iOS Apps
- Support software lifecycle, to include design, developing and testing
- Work closely with clients to provide solutions
- Trouble-shooting and problem resolution
Salary and Benefits :
- $70,000 - $90,000 base salary, depending upon qualifications and code test results

Position Requirements :
- A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related degree
- Zero two years of experience in software development and testing
- A code sample that shows the quality and type of work representative of your capabilities.
- Ability to successfully complete an in-house code test
- Development experience with any or all of the following : C#, PHP, Smarty Template Engine, Javascript (JQuery), CSS / SCSS, Bootstrap, HTML5, Node.js, Gulp
- Relational Database Knowledge, including Oracle, MSSQL and MongoDB
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to adapt and evolve to technology changes
- Ability to work independently and within a team
