Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler for our client in Corona, CA. If you're ready to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with a company that values safety, efficiency, and teamwork, this is the opportunity for you!
Pay : $20 - $23 per hour
Shift : 1st Shift, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday
The Material Handler will play a vital role in the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring smooth handling of materials with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities include isometric presorting, loading / unloading, quality and quantity verification, and data entry. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe movement of materials using forklifts and maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform accurate and efficient material presorting.
- Release materials to the shop floor as required.
- Scan incoming materials, create barcode labels, and properly tag all incoming stock.
- Deliver items to office employees as needed.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift throughout the day.
- Operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and report any maintenance needs.
- Organize the receiving area to prevent clutter and misplaced materials.
- Assign bin locations for materials being stored in the shipping and receiving warehouse.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- ERP system experience preferred.
- RF scanning experience.
- Knowledge of pipe, valves, and fittings preferred.
