Position : Travel Registered Nurse

Location : Memphis, Tennessee

Schedule : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30)

Duration : 13-Week Contract

Unit : Utilization Review

What You'll Do :

As a Travel Registered Nurse, you will perform and participate as part of the Case Management team to support a collaborative effort to facilitate quality patient care.

This role integrates and coordinates various aspects of service delivery, care facilitation, pay or authorizations, service access, discharge and post-discharge activities, and utilization review

Requirements :

RN license in State of Assignment or compact license

2 years of experience as a traveler 3 years with no travel

Must live within 100 miles from facility

Responsibilities

Identifies patients that meet criteria for case management services using an appropriate screening and assessment process.

Communicates necessary information to stakeholders and educates patients and families.

Plans effectively to meet patient needs, manage authorizations and length of stay, and promote efficient utilization of resources (fiscal, human, environmental, equipment and services).

Maintains reliable systems to document, track, and monitor assigned cases.

Performs other job functions as assigned or requested

Requirements

Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Do you have your RN License in the State of Assignment or a Compact License?

Do you have a min of 2 years experience as a travel nurse or a min of 3 yrs exp. in nursing?

This is a travel RN Contract. Confirm you live at least 100 miles from the facility located in 38128
