The iconic Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is looking for a Controllerto join the Accounting / Finance Team!

Situated on 22 acres along Waikiki's broadest stretch of sand with 2,860 rooms and 17 food and beverage outlets, this premier meeting destination offers over 150,000 sq.

ft. of function space and Waikiki's most unique meeting and event venues.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality finance and 2 years of experience in budgeting and forecasting.

Preferably, they should have experience operating a union property and managing a property with at least 500 rooms. Additionally, the candidate should be an inspiring team player who can adapt to change gracefully.

The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000, and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a controlleryou will oversee and direct the hotel's financial activities, protect assets, and compile all financial reports following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Specifically, this includes but is not limited to :

• Acts as a financial advisor to Hotel Management and Ownership,
• Oversees all sales, purchases, salaries, and expenses of the hotel.
• Support and guide department heads in understanding financial data and suggest strategies to enhance profitability.
• Prepare the annual plan, forecasts, and budgets throughout the year, providing advice to hotel management, the corporate office, and owners.
• Interviewing, training, supervising, counseling, scheduling, and evaluating staff.
