YesCommon Scans : Trans Thoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Trans Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE), including Bubble studies and Contrast echocardiography TEERequired Certifications / Licensure : BLSCurrent registry in Adult or Pediatric Echocardiography - ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) OR CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)Valid Driver’s License / Proof of Insurance may float between facilitiesSkills required : Should be experienced in adult echocardiography proceduresPediatric and Neonatal are preferredSupport within Department : SupervisorTechnology / Equipment : EMR : Meditech ExpanseEquipment : GE Echo systems and some PhilipsFloating Required : To all campuses as assigned / dependent on needsOrientation : Initial hospital wide orientation will last one dayDepartmental orientation will be focused on workflow, validation of capabilities, logistics and policy & procedures.
