We are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Channels Manager to lead the operations of our digital platforms and ensure seamless member experiences across all digital touchpoints. This role is responsible for overseeing digital banking, account opening, and communication platforms, as well as supervising staff who support digital channels and marketing operations. The Manager will collaborate with multiple departments and vendors to drive adoption, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Digital Banking

  • Manage digital banking initiatives and projects, including platform enhancements and account opening systems.
  • Oversee integrations with fintech providers to improve member-facing solutions.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Digital Communications & Marketing Platforms :

  • Oversee workflows, automations, and campaigns to increase member engagement.
  • Maintain automated member and staff communications across email, SMS, and push notifications.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and accessibility standards in all communications.
  • Leadership & Collaboration :

  • Lead and support staff responsible for digital channels and marketing operations.
  • Collaborate with IT, Marketing, Lending, Operations, and Compliance to deliver effective solutions.
  • Provide training, guidance, and oversight to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks.
  • Web & Digital Properties :

  • Ensure the credit union's website and digital properties remain functional, accessible, and compliant.
  • Maintain and update webpages with accurate rates, disclosures, and product information.
  • Vendor & Risk Management :

  • Manage vendor relationships with digital banking and marketing platform providers.
  • Evaluate new technologies and competitor offerings to ensure digital relevance.
  • Support risk management by ensuring compliance with regulations and security requirements.
  • Required Skills and Proficiencies

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with members, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to project a positive image in public forums.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage competing demands, adapt to change, and remain composed under pressure.
  • Proficiency with digital banking platforms, communication tools, and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integration concepts, and front-end technologies is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Content management systems and communication platforms such as WordPress, Acoustic, Airship, and project management tools such as Jira and Trello.
  • Training and Experience

  • Five or more years of experience with digital banking platforms, fintech integrations, or related technology required.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required; bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Coursework or certifications in project management, system integration, or digital banking platforms considered a plus.
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
