Must take charge role Job Description : - Charge nurse role includes ICU / PCU duties.- Must be willing to lead and manage both ICU and Med-Surg units on one floor if needed.
- Responsibilities include making assignments, leading team huddles, ensuring the completion of bundle audits, and updating the safety huddle sheet.
- Required to attend team meetings.- First-time travelers are accepted.- CVICU experience preferred.- Floating required to the Med-Surg Unit when necessary.
- Adhere to staffing ratios : 1 : 2 for ICU, 1 : 3-4 for PCU.- Participation in flu vaccinations is required, with considerations for medical or religious exemptions only.
- Compliance with non-holiday request time off is partially auto-approved; major holiday work is required for 2 out of 3 holidays.
- Mandatory 12-hour orientation, non-billable. Additional Job Details : - Must have graduated from an accredited university.
- Non-local applicants are preferred for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions.- Required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- 18 months of experience required, but exceptions may apply based on unit demands.- Local travelers' acceptance depends on specific job areas, not accepted for specific nursing positions listed.
