As a Civil Engineer, you will be involved in every stage of project development, from initial planning and design to construction and project closeout.

This role requires ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Site Assessment and Feasibility Studies : -Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability.

• Analyze site conditions, including topography, soil stability, and environmental considerations from customer-supplied documentation.
• Identify project constraints and opportunities for planning and design.-Design and Planning : -Develop comprehensive designs and plans for civil infrastructure projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydrology Studio, and other relevant software to create detailed drawings and specifications.
• Perform hydrology calculations and review stormwater management designs.-Expertly handle grading, cut and fill, and SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) designs.
• Manage storm system design and vendor submittal reviews.-Regulatory Compliance and Permitting : -Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies regarding environmental, zoning, and building code requirements.-Prepare and submit permit applications and necessary documentation.
• Experience working with governmental sewer system departments (, MSD).-State and Country Permitting : -Permit processing experience required.
• Cost Estimation and Budget Management (As Needed) : -Prepare accurate cost estimates and develop project budgets.-Monitor project expenditures throughout the project lifecycle and propose value engineering solutions.
• Construction Management and Supervision (As Needed) : -Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Manage contractor relationships, procurement, and scheduling.-Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to maintain project timelines.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation : -Identify and manage potential project risks, implementing mitigation strategies.-Address construction delays, budget overruns, and regulatory compliance issues proactively.
• Project Documentation and Reporting : -Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings and reports.-Prepare progress reports, updating stakeholders on milestones and challenges.
• Compile as-built documentation for client handover.-Communicate technical information effectively with stakeholders.-Client and Stakeholder Communication : -Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.-Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.

The ideal candidate should possess : -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in MO (additional states preferred).-Proven experience managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant software.-Strong knowledge of permitting, regulatory requirements, and government department processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.-Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
