To meet the growing needs of the mobility business, the CSE team is looking for a highly motivated, technology focused individual with a passion to work on a collaborative software delivery team to enable the creation and management of Platforms and APIs deployed to the Ford mobility ecosystem.

The candidate for this position must be able to function in different roles within the team, from architect to high-skilled software developer and support engineer, to consultant and product evangelist.

You'll have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study.
• 3+ years of Software engineering experience using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Micronaut, or Go developing services (APIs, REST,
• 1+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, and associated cloud components.

Even better, you may have...

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study.
• Expertise in API related technologies such as JSON, REST, gRPC, GraphQL, Swagger, and Postman.
• Knowledge about API design standards, patterns, and best-practices.
• Experience helping troubleshoot application and performance issues.
• Agile mindset.
• Excellent communications skills - ability to engage in deep technical discussions with customers and peers and become a trusted technical advisor.
• Critical thinking, decision-making and leadership aptitudes.
• Strong analytical and good interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• In depth knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures for high quality software development.
• Supporting critical applications in production at scale.

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
