About The Position
Job Title : CT / X-Ray Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology Job Duration : Not specified Shift : 8 Hour Variable Guaranteed Hours : 0 hours per week Experience : Not specified License : State License Certifications : ARRT, BLS Must-Have : - Trauma and stroke patient experience preferred - Preferred experience with equipment Job Description : - Perform imaging and studies related to trauma, strokes, outpatient, inpatient, and ER cases - Cover both X-Ray and CT during the graveyard shift - Utilize Siemens equipment and switch from DR merge to Phillips PACS - Handle an average of 60-80 scans / studies per day - Initiate IVs as required - Operate within a team led by the department lead during the day - Radiologist available in-house from 8-5 and by call after hours - Maintain and adhere to a high standard of practice and procedure - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient care and safety
