Essential Duties
- Assist in executing strategic marketing initiatives and activities across multiple channels, including digital and print vehicles.
- Design and create branded assets for both internal and external communication and marketing needs.
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice and message across all outlets.
- Write blog posts, press releases, copy for marketing collateral and other content needs as assigned.
- Produce short-form video segments for deployment across social media channels and organizational website.
- Update and maintain SBDC websites regularly, seeking opportunities to continually improve SEO and UX while maintaining ADA compliance.
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media.
- Track, analyze and report on campaigns and online activities.
- Stay abreast of current digital media trends and related technology, advising marketing strategy accordingly.
- Assist in managing internal and external communications with partners, stakeholders, clients, and service centers.
- Manage vendors and contractors related to marketing activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Thorough working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
- Working knowledge of WordPress and Constant Contact.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Eventbrite, and Zoom.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including a command of grammar, vocabulary, and AP Style.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically, problem-solve and work independently.
- Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects.
- Ability to troubleshoot most office administration problems and respond to all inquiries and requests related to work area.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience.
- Understanding and knowledge of public relations campaigns and tactics.
- Possession of excellent interpersonal communication skills.
EDUCATION :
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field form an accredited four-year college or university.
