Position : Senior Tax Manager
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Tax Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to build and nurture client relationships while managing tax engagements for a diverse range of clients.
This person is preferred to be in the Bay Area.
Responsibilities :
- You will work directly with the clients, manage tax engagement teams, and work with other technical specialists to advise clients on a variety of complex issues.
- Use your experience in accounting and taxation to provide planning, research, consulting and compliance services to clients and assist clients in achieving their goals and objectives.
- Managing all aspects of technical planning, research, consulting and compliance.
- Mentor and develop junior associates by providing performance feedback and guidance to help them develop their technical and industry skills.
- Responsible for participating in the in-house CPE classes developed internally and provided by the Firm.
- Assist in researching technical issues, writing technical memorandums, preparing analyses, and participating in IRS audits on behalf of clients.
- Responsible for managing clients which includes writing proposals, engagement letters, budgeting, staffing and billing.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting
- Advanced technical skills in tax compliance and planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

The annual base salary range for this role is $160,000-$180,000. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position.
Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, education and / or skill level.
