Job Title : Business Analyst
Location : REMOTE (Within Texas state ONLY)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Required Qualifications :
- experience mentoring and providing consultation and direction to Social Services Applications (SSA) staff.
- ability to analyze and interpret technical information , including regulations, policy, and automation system documentation / specifications.
- experience communicating in writing , translating user / business needs into a technical style, and providing technical instructions to system users.
- experience planning and coordinating individual and group work activities .
- experience detecting and diagnosing application problems .
- experience creating technical designs for problem solutions.
- experience working professionally with a broad range of stakeholders .
- experience preparing concise business requirements , technical specifications, and related artifacts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide mentorship and consultation to SSA staff , guiding them in technical and procedural aspects of their work.
- Analyze and interpret complex technical information , such as regulations, policies, and system specifications, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Translate user and business needs into clear and detailed technical documentation and provide written technical instructions for system users.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the work activities of individuals and teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues, ensuring smooth operation of Social Services Applications .
- Design technical solutions to address system problems and improve application performance.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and provide effective solutions.
- Prepare detailed business requirements and technical specifications to facilitate system development and enhancements.
Skills and Competencies :
- Strong ability to mentor and guide SSA staff.
- Expertise in analyzing technical information , including policies and system documentation.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical language.
- Solid planning and coordination skills for individual and team activities.
- Proficiency in diagnosing application problems and creating technical designs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders .
