Marketing Specialist

Position : Marketing Specialist Locations : Dripping Springs, TX (Austin, TX area) Description : Under the direction of the COO, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for working closely with the marketing, sales and business development teams to find ways to market the company and its offerings.

The Marketing Specialis will utilize their knowledge of SEO tactics to generate leads for product pages or the company website.

The Marketing Specialist may also be responsible for creating certain forms of content like blog posts or infographics to aid the production of marketing campaign materials.

Examples of Essential Job Functions : Maintains the Company Website. Ensures relevant and current Social Media posts are generated on a consistent basis.

Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data. Liaise with teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials and advertising copies.

Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers.

Investigate the performance of a company’s marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics.

Create innovative marketing campaigns depending on robust data and present the Create goals and objectives in order to approach customers through appropriate marketing channels.

Help in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as events planning, advertising, optimization and content development.

Provide support to other departments as needed. Sets up trade show events and assures there are sufficient marketing materials available for each event.

Manages the Marketing Materials SWAG inventory. Attend trade shows and events to promote company products and services. Other duties as assigned not specifically stated herein.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal sales, customer service, or a related field.

Aviation specific experience highly desired. Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing (digital and traditional). Demonstratable proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, GIMP, content management software and customer relationship management.

Excellent communication and presentation skills. Required Skills and Abilities : Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.

Proven ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks within a group environment. Ability to accept direction and additional responsibilities from one or more sources.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working knowledge of computers and related software. Ability to convey a positive and professional attitude.

Punctuality expected and overtime hours as necessary. Ability to communicate in an assertive yet professional, motivating and tactful manner.

Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and cross-functionally. Strong time-management and organizational skills.

Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Must be able to travel infrequently to attend events as may be assigned.

Must pass background verification, pre-employment drug testing, and submit to company's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program. Must be legally able to work in the USA and supply required supporting documentation.
