Bach To Rock (“B2R”), America’s Music School for students of all ages, is seeking Music Production Instructors to work as part-time employees providing private, semi-private, and group lessons in Music Production for students of all ages.

Music Production Teachers develop musicians who enjoy creating original, high-quality work.

Bach to Rock offers the opportunity to work a flexible part-time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians. We handle marketing, scheduling, booking, billing, and other business aspects so you can focus on teaching. B2R provides the curriculum, equipment, and space to ensure successful and effective instruction.

Essential Responsibilities

Deliver instruction in music production using Bach to Rock’s proprietary curriculum and Ableton Live.

Manage classroom time effectively to meet student needs.

Adapt teaching to students interested in diverse styles (e.g., hip hop, pop, rock, house, oldies).

Provide administrative support as needed, such as moving, setting up, and breaking down equipment at the school and events.

Perform basic repairs of minor school equipment.

Assist with equipment inventory.

Requirements

Demonstrate understanding of Music Production concepts and communicate effectively.

Use Ableton Live at a professional level.

Be receptive to constructive feedback and apply it to improve teaching techniques.

Be physically present at B2R for scheduled lessons.

Interact effectively with children, teens, and adults.

Exhibit effective time management and organizational skills.

Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities.

Pass a background check.

Proficient in English speaking and writing skills.
