job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Assist with crowd management and visitor guidance during events or peak times as needed. Work collaboratively with site staff and local authorities as required to support a secure environment for all occupants and visitors. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Job Description
As a Security Professional - Cultural Patrol in New Haven, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent cultural institution, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the location. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas using a company vehicle. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
