Job Description

Are you an experienced Sprinkler Technician looking for a new and exciting opportunity with a reputable company? Look no further! We are actively seeking a skilled Sprinkler Technician.

Responsibilities for the Sprinkler Technician :

  • Install, inspect, and service various types of sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of sprinkler systems to identify potential issues, malfunctions, or deficiencies.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with sprinkler systems and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to coordinate installation and maintenance schedules.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed reports on inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and standards
  • Assist with the testing and commissioning of newly installed sprinkler systems.
  • Maintain inventory of necessary equipment, tools, and supplies for service and repair tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements for the Sprinkler Technician :

  • 4-5 years of experience as a Sprinkler Technician, with a strong background in installing, inspecting, and servicing sprinkler systems.
  • Must hold a valid license
  • Extensive knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, local building codes, and regulations related to sprinkler systems.
  • Must have NICET certification
  • Experience with various types of sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Pass a Pre Employment Background screen, and clean driving record
