Job Description :
We are looking for a Laboratory Supervisor who is responsible for helping to manage day to-day operations of designated areas, and upholding a commitment to deliver the highest standard of quality and service.
The position ensures effective operation of all laboratory equipment, and laboratory personnel, oversees procurement of supplies, troubleshoots non-conformances, and ensures adherence to all safety and regulatory standards as well as the laboratory’s QMS.
Must Have Skills :
- Active ASCP Certification and FL Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required (Supervisor preferred)
- Experience as a lead technologist or supervisor in a high-complexity CLIA environment is required
- At least 5 years of experience in a CAP / CLIA laboratory
- Bachelor’s degree in a physical, chemical, or biological science is required
- Must be flexible in schedule.
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
- Superior communication skills and demonstrated excellence in a leadership role.
- Ability to effectively allocate and utilize company resources.
- Ability to coach, develop, and lead high-performance teams.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, with a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing procedures, policies, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
Location : Lake Mary, FL, USA
Schedule : Tuesday-Saturday 9AM - 5 : 30pm , must be flexible with shift times.
