We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to join a long-established water treatment company in SE Michigan.

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations while ensuring our strategic goals are achieved.

This leadership position requires a forward-thinking individual who will not only manage resources and personnel but also drive the expansion and development of our business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating policies and setting the overall direction of the company, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation among teams.

They will work closely with us to develop strategies that promote growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The General Manager will ensure that all departments are aligned with our mission and vision, actively monitor performance metrics, and implement necessary changes to improve productivity and performance.

This position requires strong business acumen and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and set expectations for team members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure the company meets its objectives.
  • Develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and efficiency.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage staff and department heads.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Create and manage budgets, optimizing resource allocation for maximum profitability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role; trades or home services background highly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in improving customer experience and satisfaction.
