Overview :

We have need for an entry level Industrial Engineer. This position would be responsible for analyzing, impacting, and reporting cost activities for the several manufacturing locations. The candidate will interface with respective Wabtec management to evaluate manufacturing operations, existing cost metrics in addition to time and motion studies. As such the talent should have a degree in Engineering or Business with experience in project management and cost analysis. Details of the position are as follows :

Job Description / Details :

Support various teams by validating reporting accuracy :

• Assist with identification and resolution of gaps in reporting in across facilities.
• Monitor transactions and work order aging cases to discover reporting gaps.
• Lead efforts to develop reporting process for manufacturing processes.
• Assist Variance, BOM teams and Sourcing toward improving internal and vendor reporting.

Become Proficient in Oracle Business Intelligence Reports / Analysis :

Support Variance Team in Identification and Tracking of Projects :

Assist in Standard Setting Process and Inventory Control :

Assist and lead various Quality Efforts :

Desired Skills :

Qualifications / Requirements :

BS in Engineering or Business with related supply chain or material management experience.
