SUMMARY :
This position is accountable for providing proficient direct and indirect nursing care of patients / families assigned under the direction and supervision of a physician and / or Registered Nurse.
LVN practice is performed within the scope of LVN licensure and in accordance with Valley Children's policies.
QUALIFICATIONS : EXPERIENCE :
EXPERIENCE :
- Minimum 1 year LVN experience highly desirable
- Pediatric experience is preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred
EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited LVN Program
- Active California LVN License required
- BLS HeartCode required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
- California IV certification preferred
POSITION DETAILS : Per Diem, 8-hour shifts and clinic hours are Monday through Friday and closed on weekends and holidays.
Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shift per 2-week pay period. Must also be available to attend a week-long (Mon-Fri, 8 am to 5 pm) new hire hospital orientation the first week of hire.
PAY RANGE : $33.00 - $41.00
